Confessions of a Gay Priest on Hookup Apps

As a gay priest, navigating the world of hookup apps presents a unique set of challenges and moral dilemmas. The anonymity and accessibility of these apps can be both tempting and dangerous for someone in my position.

Confessing my truth to fellow priests and religious leaders is not an option, as the church’s stance on homosexuality remains controversial and often judgmental. This leaves me feeling isolated and unable to fully embrace my identity.
